Sede Bogotá., ) Cantor Parra, Lina Sofia; Clavijo Benavidez, María Paula; Vargas Martínez, Dolly EnithThe present research aims to carry out the adaptation and validation of the Positive and Negative Affectivity Scale (PANAS), in a sample of 150 single mothers in the city of Bogota, Colombia, in order to have instruments that are relevant to our context and to respond to a notorious need for insufficient psychological evidence adapted to the country’s culture; This work was carried out under the quantitative methodology, which is based on the application of the PANAS Scale and its process of psychometric validation in the Colombian context. For this purpose, validation was carried out by expert judges, followed by the application of the corresponding pilot tests to adjust the scale according to the population to be studied, finally, the instrument was applied to the above-mentioned sample in order to find the results, where the statistical analysis was carried out through the SPSS V.16 programme, followed by finding that the scale has adequate levels of validity and reliability, that single mothers in the city of Bogota show adequate levels of positive affections in relation to negative affection, which I know showed results contrary to what the theory explains, finally, it is concluded that for future studies other sociodemographic characteristics are taken into account, such as the economic stratum and schooling, since these are factors that may influence the results obtained, it is also important that in future research the sample should be wider and not only women should be taken into account, it is recommended that a second validation be carried out by expert judges who will evaluate the final modifications made to the instrument according to their judgement.

Sede Bogotá., ) Quiroz Zapata, Marian Brillit; Mena Valencia, María Alejandra; Vargas Martínez, Dolly EnithThe following research is part of the degree work to obtain the title of magister in education, its focus is the María Auxiliadora Educational Institution located in the Department of Guaviare, Municipality of Miraflores with eighth grade students, in the area of Spanish Language and that a low academic performance has been reflected in the students during the academic periods one and two of the current school year. The foregoing motivates to carry out a more in-depth investigation on what are the causes that lead students to have a low performance in the area of Spanish Language, to look for a playful strategy mediated by ICT that allow solving the problem and increasing performance levels for students to move through the grade, acquiring the necessary skills and generating significant learning and thus guaranteeing a satisfactory academic grade. The strategy that was implemented is in line with the constructivist pedagogical model that implies commitment, both from students and teachers, starting from previous knowledge, situational aspects that highlight the knowledge of students and the way in which they are resolved significantly by the students.
