The residents from Bosque Calderon neighborhood were contaminating. Las Delicias creek, one of the hydrographic basins from Bogotá city. This begins its journey in the eastern hills of Chapinero town and empties into the Salitre river. The other community is the one located in the urban area of the Tabio municipality in Cundinamarca. The residents from El Centro neighborhood also contributed to the pollution of the Chicú River, which collects the discharges from this sector. The residents threw tires, bags and plastic bottles to the streams. They gave inadequate use to green areas and common spaces because they did not collect the excrement of their pets. in addition, there was an inappropriate management of solid waste generated in their homes and at school. To help solve part of the problem presented, the research question was made: ¿How Guardians of Nature classroom project can strengthen the Citizen Culture in children from the schools distrital Simon Rodriguez branch c and the I.E.D Técnico Jose de San Martin, Camilo Torres branch of Bogota and Tabio? To achieve this, a main objective was formulated, which consisted in “structure a classroom project that lead to strengthen the Citizen Culture among the second grade children from the educational branch Camilo Torres and the fourth grade students from Simon Rodriguez school branch c. 7 Through this didactic strategy, it was intended to transform the actions that threaten the environment into positive actions that protect and preserve water sources and green areas, raising awareness among the educational community about the importance of generating a sense of individually and collective belonging towards the natural environment. The type of research that was developed was qualitative, framed in the descriptive approach. Taking as a starting point the application of a classroom project, several pedagogical strategies were proposed that will help generate ecological attitudes and routines based on a new socio-environmental culture that, in turn, will also help to mitigate the existing environmental problems.

Sede Bogotá., ) Triana Camacho, Deyanira; Gil Flórez, Mildred Irene; Sánchez Rojas, César AugustoThis article address the issue of playfulness as a pedagogical strategy to improve the reading skill in the fourth and fifth grade students from two official elementary schools. The didactic is related to play and fun and allows children to explore and investigate a given topic, influencing their training process since it works with all the dimensions of the subject. The problem that was presented was the difficulty to understand the meaning of a text and, therefore, they made the reading in a mechanical way without being able to understand what they read. Educational play activities werw implemented from the constructivist method with the aim of improving the processes in reading comprehension and, in addition directing them to become good readers.
