- ÍtemDiseño aerodinámico de un túnel de viento de circuito abierto.(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Rojas Escobar, Manuel Alejandro;; Mendez Moreno, AurelioA wind tunnel is a tool that allows develop experiments within a controlled air flow to analyze the interaction of different elements with the air. This project makes an approach from the aerodynamic point, to design for a high speed, open circuit wind tunnel; the parameters to design are: a large test section enough to allow access a person for the installation and develop the models testing. For this design I adopting the recommendations made by the authors to optimize the uniformity flow in low speed wind tunnel and additionally I make use of a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) as support in selecting the profile and length contraction. The CDF plays an important role to make an approach to behavior of the flow inside the tunnel, which allows you to make suggestions for improving the configuration of the wind tunnel within the range of operation. The wind tunnel is based in calculating the air properties, a maximum speed within test section equivalent to 0,6 basing the design on atmospheric standard conditions for a height equivalent to that of the Bogota city (2.600m). Within this work I also include the preselection of the instrumentation needed for the measurement of the basic variables in the development of a test of aerodynamics in a wind tunnel (pressure, speed and temperature).
