Sede Bogotá., ) Quiroga Quiroga, Laura Lorena;; Rodríguez Padilla, Alexa LilianaThe present investigation seeks to make an approach to the construction of identity of young offenders located in a Transitory Center in the city of Bogotá, in order to describe the perception of their realities from the identity process that develops during their adolescence. The investigation procedure consisted in the preparation of semi-structured interviews applied to a sample of five young people from a transitory center of teenagers who were offenders. The interview was structured around themes that would provide a description of the constructed identity of the participating adolescents, in order to identify elements that allow to outline some type of category related to the identity process in a teenager, and if possible their relationship with antisocial behavior, and having a perception of how the process of resocialization taught in the transitional center becomes an element of change in their lives. The analysis of the interviews allowed us to establish that the identity process in the interviewed adolescents is not consolidated, although the sample was constituted by adolescents between 16 and 18 years of age, a period considered as transition to adulthood. The shortcomings found around the process of identity consolidation show their lack of clarity about who they are and what they want to achieve in their lives, values, capacities and limitations, where they express descriptions of themselves from the context in that they are in the moment and with difficulties to articulate them as a unique identity that transcends them and allows them to act within the limits established by the society to which they belong, thinking autonomously and becoming aware of their actions, so that Think about it so as not to become repeat offenders within the SRPA.
