- ÍtemGobierno estudiantil: un espacio para la participación en la vida democrática escolar en la Sede Educativa Francisco José de Caldas(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Moreno Valencia, Tatiana; Diosa García, AlejandroThis research seeks to establish a pedagogical strategy according to the Student Government to promote democratic participation in the school life of elementary school students at the Francisco José de Caldas School (Cali, Colombia), to strengthen school coexistence within the institution. In this, the research was defined from the approach of action and participation focused on the educational community, combining pedagogical and educational elements; thus, the previous one can be understood as the method that intends in priority the study and the search for the transformation of the behaviors and collective transformations, by which the forms of social organization are understood and produced. Touraine (1986) these can be the result of social conflicts and the clash of cultural patterns, where a collectivity can build, in a normative way, its relations with its territory and its environment, constructing behavioral patterns with ideological contents and/or representations of its environment. Thus, according to Touraine: "The method of sociological intervention has no universal pretension which is not limited, however, to the study of certain social phenomena. It must be considered as the instrument of analysis corresponding to a certain general way of studying social life, since these central conflicts, closely linked to the production of cultural orientations, are translated into institutional processes and organizational forms, and that, on the other hand, these open relations can be closed, transforming themselves into a system of order and social reproduction, or they can enter into crisis or decomposition or, more simply, be modified by processes of social change. But even if the method of intervention were to penetrate all the fields of the intervened place, this would not mean that it could be substituted for what is particular in this or that field of social life" (1986, p. 200). In this way, this document is the summary of an inquiry that was carried out through a qualitative approach of action research character, previously defined; the intervened population is made up of a group of 57 students, 22 teachers, 57 parents and 2 directors; the sample collected is of a non-probabilistic character and was defined according to the requirements and possibilities of application of each instrument. The activities carried out within the research approach were the following: a focus group, interviews, and observation. These will be detailed throughout the document.
