Sede Bogotá., ) Meluk Acuña, Iván; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThis research focuses on one of the axes of interest of the research line carried out by the group: "The Pedagogical Reason" of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Los Libertadores University Foundation (FULL) regarding the evaluation educational and inquires about the practices, conceptions and their origin from the contributions of professors and students of the five engineering programs. Observe the set of characteristics present when evaluating students' learning taking as a reference of analysis the practical and technical rationality approaches, to identify how it is possible to introduce improvements that are oriented to an evaluation for training under the exposed contributions by authors such as Santos Guerra Miguel Ángel, José Gimeno Sacristán, Ángel Díaz Barriga, Edith Litwin, and the approaches to evaluation as learning by Juan Manuel Alvarez Méndez. From the findings, the result of the field work, it is intended to propose training strategies aimed at enriching the exercise of university teaching and evaluation. It is a study of qualitative and contrasting analysis that includes in its population teachers and students with survey-based instruments for their corresponding analysis. It has, as expected, in a sample of 228 students and 29 teachers of the five programs and concentrated in the semesters from fourth to tenth. Likewise, a quantitative analysis is developed to support the categories generated in the qualitative information required for the analysis of the information from the perception of teachers and students of the Faculty of Engineering and Basic Sciences of the Los Libertadores University Foundation
