Sede Bogotá., ) Jaramillo Hernández, José Henrry;; Nocua Sarmiento, Efraín AlonsoThis project has been designed based on the need to solve the difficulty presented by students in the fourth (4th) and fifth (5th) grades of primary basic education at Las Guacas Rural School in Corinto Cauca, to understand the concept of fractional numbers, and their different operations. This problem serves as a starting point to look for pedagogical strategies and methodologies that, integrated with technology, help to create new didactic strategies that make it possible to solve this problem, such as learning fractional numbers. It is for this reason that the design of a “virtual learning object (OVA) for the understanding of fractional numbers in the students of the fourth and fifth grades of the Rural School Las Guacas de Corinto Cauca is considered, as a pedagogical strategy that allows provide meaningful learning to students, and allow this in turn to be applied in their answer; taking into account that all learning activities are carried out through an OVA, taking advantage of their potential and taking into account their difficulties and their learning rhythms.
