- ÍtemIndicadores de gestión hotelera; un estudio de correlación canónicaBejarano Prieto, Yenny Marcela; Hernández Villamil, Jessica Idaly; Merchán Hernández, María Eugenia; Pineda Ríos, WilmerThe Hotel / hospitality industry in Colombia has established itself as a very important growth source for Socioeconomic development and cultural expansion, and as a result it is crucial to analyze different hotel management indicators and follow up with strategies that can generate a competitive advantage in this field, in addition to creating favorable socio economic conditions for the metropolitan area. “Hotel Management Indicators; A Canonical Correlation Research” is focused on commercial and touristic hotel management activity. This document aims to identify relations and influences between environmental management, human and market resources and quality indicators. Research began by collecting and studying secondary information: a recent 2015 data base obtained from a 30 hotels sample, all located in Bogotá and part of the Colombian Hotel Association – COTELCO. To achieve the objective, a canonic correlation analysis (ACC) multivariate method was applied, which, as it´s shown in the document, measures the lineal correlation between two fully defined variables groups (AMBIENTAL- CALIDAD, RECURSOS HUMANOS – CALIDAD, MERCADEO – CALIDAD). Procedures were executed by using statistical software R.
