Sede Bogotá., ) Escarria Soto, Maria Del Rosario; Daza Piragauta, JavierLUDECO is an ecological play initiative that provides a resource bank with pedagogical activities aimed at children who stay with their mothers deprived of liberty in periods from gestation, breastfeeding and up to three years of age, within the framework of the child development program in DIER prison establishment for early childhood care of the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF), in the municipality of Jamundí, Valle del Cauca. This research focuses on developing and evaluating an ecological playful strategy, which contributes and is based on the processes of reuse and utilization of waste or surplus production of the workshops offered by the National Penitentiary and Prison Institute INPEC, such as paper, cardboard, textiles and wood, which are characterized by being low cost, accessible and sustainable. Given that there are few resources in ward 18C or "home environment", we seek to reuse them for the creation of didactic material through pedagogical activities aimed at children, mothers and pregnant women, seeking the optimal use of time to share during weekends, days in which children do not receive attention in the Child Development Unit UDI - Gotitas de Amor (Droplets of Love). The "My Other Self" campaign and the creation of an origami booklet "My hands show you" were carried out through the resource bank with intentional pedagogical activities. By providing pedagogical guides and didactic materials adapted to the children's ages, it was possible to show that the emotional bond between mothers and children was strengthened, fostering interaction in the home environment, harmony and coexistence through these recreational activities.
