We show that First Grade students in our workplace have great apathy for the reading process and all that this entails, due in large part to the lack of encouragement from their families; We saw the need to carry out the design and application of the fun strategy "I have fun and I learn between letters" in order to awaken the interest of First Grade children in the process of reading and understanding the same of the Fundación Educacional Ana Restrepo del Corral, which is located in the city of Bogotá, in the town of Usaquen. This strategy proposes activities that the teacher will use and guide in their pedagogical practice so that the children have a better development in their reading comprehension process inside and outside the school. We start by saying that our intervention proposal is a qualitative research with a participation action method, where the playful strategy proposes activities that allow children to become actively and pleasantly involved in reading and writing comprehension processes. Through the game, where they are the main actors of the processes and the teacher is a facilitator of them. The fun strategy "I have fun and I learn between letters" is composed of three activities that allow students to play with words through wordplay and story creation, both individually and collectively; understand everything they read and In turn, understand that it is an important part of communicating with others at the moment they understand that their ideas, feelings and appreciations are as valid as those of their peers and other people, who read and understand the world in different ways and their This, in turn, enriches your reading comprehension.
