Sede Bogotá., ) Díaz Molano, Leydi Lorena; Puché Redondo, Ruby Mercedes; Daza Piragauta, JavierThe present investigative work was carried out in order to strengthen reading comprehension in ninth grade students, for this a playful didactic tool was designed, mediated by the use of the digital tool Blog-Wattpad, allowing mobile devices to be used in class. reading, in order to propose a new recreational-didactic activity with technological motivation towards it, renew the teaching-learning process and reading comprehension through digital play, it was possible to establish the type of research with 80 students belonging to grade nine to who were applied research instruments such as: the survey to identify the levels of reading comprehension, the diagnostic test with the ICFES Saber-Valle booklet (Helmer Pardo Educational Group) and direct observation by the teachers. From the above, it was possible to conclude that the use of ICT and games become important tools to strengthen reading comprehension in students, because they find interest in them and promote innovation in the classroom and therefore in teaching practice, additionally, the Blog-Wattpad tool allows students to share readings, make comments, obtain ratings on their favorite text and know that other ninth grade readers are reading the same book.
