Sede Bogotá., ) Copete Parra, Leonardo Fabian;; González Prieto, Cristian AndrésA Principal Components Analysis was performed to determine the contribution of variance that adds each item that makes up a climate survey, to the dimension to which it belongs. The survey is made up of 48 statements grouped into 7 dimensions evaluated on a Likert scale of 4 options of answer The dimensions follow exactly the guidelines of the Administrative Department of the Colombian Public Service and the survey was Applied to a national company. They found that of the 7 dimensions that They make up the instrument, two items that do not make a contribution of equal proportions to others. In the dimension of Organizational Orientation two items were found with minor contributions of variance with respect to the others, which could be due to problems in the classification criteria that arise from the definition of the dimension itself. In the Administration dimension of the Human Talent a single item was found with the same behavior, what which may be due to the formulation of the statement that allows the influence of social desirability and the perception of self-efficacy. In addition, it was found which could be included in another dimension of the survey, called Capacity Professional. The Multiple Correspondence Analysis performed with a categorization of the general climate index and the specific demographic variables verify that there is no clear demographic profile associated with the different levels of perception of the work environment
