Sede Bogotá., ) Cifuentes Gómez, Ana Marcela; Sáchica Cepeda, Leidy CristinaThe articulation between preschool and first grade is necessary to obtain an adaptation between both levels, which allows children to successfully live their school experiences. The child's entry into school constitutes a fundamental moment in his or her life, he or she will initiate a methodical learning process, start a serious and responsible activity: study, which throughout school life will constitute a fundamental activity and its fulfillment will be evaluated by teachers, parents, peers and society in general. This reality reflects the importance that it has for the child to obtain success, fundamentally in the first grade, where the bases for the future learning are cemented and habits, norms and instructions of work are acquired that will be basic for all their process student. Some first-grade teachers, in their pedagogical construction with the children, hope to convert them abruptly into schoolchildren, forgetting that there is a period of adaptation between preschool and primary school, where there are physical-environmental changes and it's necessary to prepare. It is vitally important to raise awareness and advise primary school teachers on the implementation of their pedagogical work in order to avoid a sudden change from one stage to another. The articulation must respond to a gradual development, a logical and natural continuity from one stage to another; a duly organized educational process that favors the enrichment of the child's development and is reflected in a rapid adaptation to the new conditions faced.
