For the process of designing the pedagogical proposal, the application of a survey to students and teachers was taken as a reference, in order to detect the possible differences and the low level of understanding in reading small stories and simple texts. The sample of study was constituted by 10 students of the fifth degree of the institution San Pedro Claver of the municipality of Puerto Tejada. It is possible to conclude that, through the ludic strategies of learning the students were able to improve their abilities in account to the comprehension of the reading, recognized the importance for the other areas of knowledge and the relevance of the ludic in daily life.
