Sede Bogotá., ) Caicedo Caicedo, Raquel; Danna Buitrago., Jenny Paola; Cuadros De Vílchez, DianaIn this research work the guidelines of a didactic strategy are established to develop the skills of sensitivity, aesthetic appreciation and communication typical of the area of artistic education, in sixth grade students of the Rosalía Mafla Jamundí educational institution. The foregoing in search of a theoretical and methodological structure that allows to provide a significant contribution to the improvement of the teaching of artistic education in this educational institution and in the educational institutions of the country. In this research, a qualitative research methodology was used (Hernández, Fernández & Baptista, 2010), in which the survey and content analysis were used as a data collection technique. For this, instruments such as the questionnaire and analysis grids were designed, which facilitated the collection and analysis of the information. As a result of this research, it was possible to establish 4 guidelines of a didactic strategy model with their respective principles that as a whole point to the development of competencies: 1) Teaching answer: (educational environment, characteristic of students). 2) Teaching objectives (skills development). 3) Teaching strategies or techniques. (Problem situations, teamwork, motivation, drawing practices and formative assessment). 4) Description of activities (problem-based learning pedagogical approach, processes).
