Sede Bogotá., ) Amú Aguilar, César Augusto; Sáchica Cepeda, Leidy CristinaThe lack of participation identified in the Educational Institution, is a problem when analyzing the competencies and / or skills of students, the fact of studying factors that do not contribute to the development of knowledge, allows the researcher to analyze strategies that favor the level of student development, thus facilitating resources that contribute to the teaching-learning process. The subject of study, allow to reflect, the demotivation identified in the students, is accompanied by situations that are generated from the methodology implemented for the orientation of the class, according to this analysis, where the participation of the students was involved , observation spaces, among others, we see the need to include as a pedagogical tool, the playful work in this way from the game, captivate the attention of students and undoubtedly overflow participation. Many are the tools that can be taken from the playful expressions, for this work, it is proposed to improve the participation in the Mathematics class, in the 9th grade students of the American School of the city of Santiago de Cali, by means of traditional games, this being a model that significantly contributes to the methodology of work and allows to relate without ignoring the contexts of students resources that favor the pedagogical task, involving them from all points of view without leaving aside their needs and resuming in every measure, each of the required components which require a planning that significantly contributes to awakening in the student the need to get involved in all the doing thus favoring the required competencies.
